District 7870 Governor Venu Rao, in an email message to all of the District's club presidents, asked for their cooperation in meeting the District's goals for Rotary Year 2018-19.
These goals are:
- To achieve a net District membership increase of 60 by June 30, 2019
- That every Rotary Club in District 7870 participate in a Global Grant (International) Project
- That every District Rotarian contribute to Rotary Foundation Yearly, in whatever amount they can afford
DG Rao's message went on to suggest, for each goal, several ideas that might help clubs to achieve it.
The DG closed, in part, with the following thought for the presidents:
"Only you and District leadership working together can accomplish these goals. Your enthusiastic cooperation is the recipe for our success."
